Launch of 2020 Impact Year

To help us kick off the 2020 Impact year, we were privileged to welcome Wendy Steele, Founder of IMPACT100 in the US and Carrie Morgridge and others from the Morgridge Family Foundation, during their brief visit to Sydney.
A renowned speaker and inspiring role model, Wendy has featured in media such as People Magazine, USA Today, CBS Evening News, as well as her own TedX Talk ‘The Impact of Generosity’ in 2014. As of the end of 2018, the IMPACT100 model created by Wendy has been replicated in more than 50 cities around the world and raised over $67 million for local community non-profit organisations.
Carrie Morgridge is Vice President of the Morgridge Family Foundation (MFF) which invests in leaders and organisations that reimagine solutions to some of today’s greatest challenges. Carrie speaks internationally on education advocacy, poverty alleviation and philanthropy. She is the award-winning author of ‘Every Gift Matters’ and ‘The Spirit of the Trail’.
It was a very special night and Wendy and Carrie were hugely inspiring. They plan to return next year, so if you missed out this time, we are exciting to say you will get to meet them in 2021!
